Jurassic Eggs

I saw ten T-rex eggs in a jungle cave

With a sign that said “Do not disturb”

We were all alone in the wilderness

And didn’t know where to turn.

So we took out our little pocket knives

And started digging up those eggs…

But it’s what happened next

That really shook us

Right down to the bone.

For when they cracked open,

There were dinosaurs inside.

Some big ones too!

And then from behind came

More of them

Deadly monsters with razor teeth

They ran towards us

As fast as anything could go

Roaring like thunder and fire.

And before we knew it,

Our city lay below their jaws

While we hid

On top of this mountain

High above Honolulu.

We never saw any gold at all

We had to stay in the cave and fight
