Islamic morality is a topic that many people are intrigued by. Islam has been around for over 1400 years and it’s still going strong. But the world has changed in so many ways since then. How can Islamic morality be interpreted to match with these changes?
1. What is Islamic morality?
The word “morality” means different things to different people. However, most would agree that it refers to a set of standards or principles that help us make decisions about what is right or wrong behavior. It might seem like an easy concept at first glance. After all, if you do something wrong, you’re not being moral!
Islam is a religion that consists of five pillars: unity of Allah, prayer, obligatory poor tax, fasting, and pilgrimage. The main goal of the Islamic faith is to become closer to Allah (or God) by following these five pillars.
In the modern world, many good Muslims are confused about how to integrate their faith with Western culture. They feel like they don’t have a voice in modern society and that they’re not being heard.
